Is there any chance you have the parameters for frequency, inputs, and acceleration and deceleration? You might have to get some help from the manufacturer if you want to replace the whole unit. If you need to replace it, the parameters are the important part. Make sure you don't bypass the over current protection when you make the change. If it runs on single phase input, you can just move the input to the R and S phases (should be L1 and L2). I can't see the wild leg hurting it in any way. Not sure why they used it but it's common enough for small motors. It runs on single phase and puts out 3 phase. I very much want to understand more about the function if this subject.Ī link the the Inverter manual pdf if intrested: Also concerning me is the posiblilty that the wild leg has caused the failure in this inverter. If it needs 220v 1 phase how does that work with only 2 legs of 3 phase. It converts to 3phase to by Sine Wave Pulse Mod as manual states, to run 3 phase tool changer motor. However the inverter is powered by 220v 1 phase from legs R and T. My control is powered by 200v 1 phase from legs R and S. I run this Yang Fanuc OMD VMC from a well balanced RPC build, thanks to this forum. So I removed and took apart and found a slightly swollen electrolytic cap. The "still charged" led is on but nothing else. Looked in the control cabinet and the Adleepower Inverter was dead.
